Shortly after Trump's election, I took a seminar called "Psychology of the Political Left and Right" (PSY 980M), which explores the role of genetics, personality, upbringing, social networks, and demographic factors in shaping political orientation.  In this podcast, I apply psychological principles to an interview I conducted with a Republican classmate, ultimately reflecting on the need for conversation and cooperation across America's growing political divide.
