ASSEMBLE
A book cover I created for Siblings of Autism, a nonprofit that will compile prior contest submissions in order to raise awareness of the caregiver experience.
I was awarded a $1,000 scholarship for my design.
The “siblings" are made using the same building blocks — and yet, no figure is identical. Autism (and the caregiver experience) comes in
all shapes and sizes.
“Assemble" means putting together (in this case, a collection of submissions), but also
coming together (through joining a cause).
By compiling our thoughts and ideas, we stand united.
