In fall 2017, I participated in a health promotion project in Somerville, MA, collaborating with the Department of Health and Human Services to reduce food insecurity among SNAP-eligible residents. 

 

In order to assess areas for improvement, I explored the city on foot, attended community events, and met with stakeholders.  Here are some reflections about the process.
